TURN DOWN for MOTH

I’ve listened to the Moth Radio Hour for years, but this was the first time I ever attended a live event. The storytellers allow themselves to be truly honest and vulnerable, so seeing it live was even more impactful and moving. If you live in LA you may have seen me in traffic or running on the strand laughing hysterically or crying—NOT because I’m bat-shit crazy, but because I’m listening to the Moth! But seriously, the storytellers are so honest and real that it’s hard not to be moved by emotion. Through their stories I get to see life from a different perspective and take away an insight or lesson. I’m obsessed with the Moth because it celebrates the art of storytelling and human experiences that connect us.

Shout out and special thanks to my girl Miss Sugarbritches for going with me to this!! I’m looking forward to our next live Moth event!
